Often two workshops can be delivered at the same time and school visitors can book multiple workshops in a day.
Most activities offered can by delivered in your school by Winchester Science Centre’s Outreach Team. These include hands-on practical activities often using equipment not available in schools.A large state-of-the-art mobile planetarium with presenter is available for outreach. This inflatable digital dome brings the 360° experience directly to audiences in schools, workplaces or event venues.
The dome is highly portable and quick to set up. It comes with an astronomy expert who can present live astronomy planetarium shows and/or play 360° fulldome film shows on a variety of topics. Up to six shows can be shown with each hire.
